10 YEARS!!!

ALQUÍMIA DEL SOL VJs (Alchemy of the Sun VJs) is an AVC (Audio-Visual Collective) founded in Barcelona in 2001.
Their work is based on live projections working with different bands from Germany, like Embryo, Stahlband, Poets of Rhythm & local bands like Meridiana, Pidgins, Qa'a, Soma Planet, Enric Hernàez & with DJ's also like in the "Imagina New Building Gathering" of Mediapro in Barcelona.
They take its show to different venues, like Music Festivals (Fona -5years-, Figa Rock -3years-, Psico-Jazz-Ethno-Progressive Festival -2004-), Poetry Festivals, Performances, Clubs & Discoteques, Art Galleries... By other way, their work like videoartists is in videoclips & experimental short-films.
This particular kind of art could be defined as atemporal, because references come from far away in time & work with lights and shadows, mixing textures and colours.

They create moving pictures which are born and die every instant, living pictures which are born and die every instant. Through light and colour, suggestive images are generated, carrying us to remote places and giving life to inner landscapes.
